Sera's paintings have been highly ranked by Google due to the popularity of her work, which is how her paintings came to the attention of a professional photographer who was scouring the internet to find the very best art to feature in a series of calendars sold throughout the USA for fundraising.

Pages & Dimensions Of Calendars

The calendars have 28 pages. Each page is 30cm x 30cm (slightly under 12" x 12"). Each month has a print of a full sized dance or ballet painting at the top, with the calendar dates below.

At the back of the calendar there is a page for notes and a page with the first 4 months of 2010 for forward planning.

At the back of the calendar there's a photo of the artist and information about the artist.

Environmentally Friendly Calendars

The calendars are printed on 50% recycled paper which helps support the environment and we believe there is no compromise in quality, since they have been produced by a professional photographer with a keen eye, high standards of quality and a FSC certiied printer was used.

Postage & Packing

If you need the calendar to be sent to you, a modest charge is added for postage & packing. Please note that calendars sent by post have to be rolled & sent in a protective tube. Some minor creasing and curling may be inevitable. Most of this should disappear with use and if flattened by the recipient. Returns can not be accepted or refunds given for calendars sent by post which have this type of condition.  If you wish to receive a calendar in perfect condition it would be necessary for you to collect the calndar from one of our Surrey, England distribution points (by prior arrangement only - contact us to discuss).

Sera M. Knight has been drawing and painting since childhood. She paints mainly in watercolour, acrylic and mixed media.

Tackling human figure and perspective has always been her favourite subjects but she enjoys the challenge of all subjects.

Regardless of the subject, to be able to use the light cleverly, create a mystical atmosphere together with technical and emotional strength is her aim.

Sera also paints on glass objects to the effect of stained glass and exhibits these separately. Born in Ankara, Turkey, Sera has a degree in Architecture.

She lived in Stavanger, Norway from 1980 to 1993 and worked as an architect in the oil industry.

Now living in the Woking area of Surrey, Sera is a member of various art societies and groups and exhibits her work regularly within these. She also teaches adult education classes and tutors private groups in mainly watercolour, mixed media and drawing mediums.

Due to the popularity of this Dance Calendar by Sera M. Knight, we are making plans for a 2010 calendar of her work. This may include a 2010 version of the same calendar produced in 2009.

There is also a chance of a second Dance & Ballet Calendar featuring paintings not included in the 2009 calendar. This could include not just further ballet paintings but also ballroom dancing and other forms of dance such as flamenco.

These have been created by a Fine Art Printer (member of Fine Art Trade Guild) in Surrey UK.  They are Giclée prints on Fine Art Paper and are very close to original paintings in appearance.
